In Q2 2024, the Android apps for some of the leading fast food and fast casual restaurants in the US have shown varying performance trends. Here's a look at the top contenders and their metrics, based on data from Sensor Tower.
The McDonald's Offers and Delivery app saw a peak in downloads mid-quarter with over 1K downloads, followed by a drop to the 200s towards the end. Weekly active users (WAU) showed an uptrend from 2.6M to 3.1M before dropping to 2.5M and rebounding back to 2.5M by the end of the quarter.
KFC APP - Ec, Co, Cl, Ar y Ve experienced a similar pattern, with downloads reaching over 1K before declining. The WAU for KFC's app started at 9.6M, peaked at 11.6M, and then declined to 10.5M by the quarter's close.
McDelivery Su showed modest download numbers, starting at 83 and peaking at 354 before falling to 58 by June. Its WAU followed a similar trajectory, increasing from 325 to 658 and then decreasing to 389.
For KFC Kuwait - Order Food Online, downloads saw a surge to 324, then fell to 53. WAU increased from 125 to 438 and finally settled at 185.
Burger King® Kosova had its highest downloads at 299, but ended the quarter with 36. WAU saw a rise from a modest 41 to 299, before declining to 36.
